Blocked Toilet? 5 Things To Try Before Calling The Plumber

1. Baking soda and Vinegar

• One cup of baking soda into the toilet bowl
• One cup of white vinegar into the toilet bowl
• 300 MLS of Hot water into the toilet bowl
  Leave it in the toilet bowl for 10 minutes and flush afterwards.

2. Plunger

Make sure you’re using the right type of plunger for unclogging toilets. Make sure you are using the right type of plunger for the job.

3. Use drain cleaning chemicals.

Drain cleaning chemicals can be purchased from any grocery store or hardware store. Follow directions stated on the product.

4. DIY Drain Snake

Using a metal clothes hanger. Unwind the clothes hanger and make it as straight as possible. Push it down the toilet bowl to try and clear the blockage. If that doesn’t work try purchasing a sink drain unblocker.

5. Suck out the clog

Using a wet and dry vacuum you can try and suck out the blockage. It may leave a large mess so be prepared for some cleaning.
